In need of a survey service at the end of your vessel’s charter contract? Turn to Caribbean Marine Surveyors Ltd. for your phase-out survey needs.

The trusted name in marine survey services in the British Virgin Islands for more than 20 years, we have a wealth of experience in performing end of contract ship condition survey services. Our detailed survey is performed in three main stages, working to ensure vessels are in full working and operational order before being returned to the owner.

Our survey service starts with an in-water inspection of the bottom of the vessel following its last charter, and includes any recommendations on needed repairs or concerns. The inspection next continues as the phase out begins, and includes a full report on any recommendations or necessary service that our inspectors find. Lastly, once the charterer has completed any maintenance, we perform a final review to ensure that all repair work has been completed to maritime standards.

Services generally are performed over a four-week period, and does not cover in-depth inspection of engine mechanical equipment or sail conditions. We can recommend local contractors for engine or sail surveys, as requested.
