"Anna Orchard", with Caribbean Marine Surveyors in their Tortola office is the brightest and most focused on the details surveyor we have ever met. Super thorough & misses nothing regardless of how small the issue may be. She gets it.
Bill seems really cool and very experienced with a wild and interesting background. Any of the local yacht Brokers I asked for suggestions, only had good words for Bill Bailey and Caribbean Marine Surveyors. I'll be adding another review after the survey is complete 11/09/21
I WAS THINKING ABOUT THE PURCHASE OF A VESSEL WITH SOME ISSUES. I WROTE MR BAILEY AS I UNDERSTOOD HE HAD SOME KNOWLEDGE OF THE VESSEL..HE REPLIED WITHIN 24 HOURS WITH A DETAILED EXPLANATION OF THE ISSUES AND POSSIBLE REMEDIES. I OFFERED TO PAY FOR HIS INPUT BUT HE SENT IT WITHOUT CHARGE. SO NICE AND SO HELPFUL.
Anna did a tremendous job for us. She is competent, professional and pays attention to detail. She kept us informed every step of the way. Thanks to her are both that came out of the Moorings was in great shape. We will definitely look to her if we have future needs in the BVI. I encourage you to look at her resume which documents her professional expertise.
I found CMS online when I was planning to buy my first boat, unseen from the other side of the world. Bill is very thorough, encyclopedic and proper 'old-shool' in the best possible sense of the term. I later learned he's held in very high esteem by clients and those in business. He guided me (ie held my hand!) in my purchase of Tilly Whim and could not recommend him more highly.
